Self Sufficient World is a project conducted in 2000 in co-operation with the Dutch Ministry of Housing, Spatial Planning and the Environment.
The website is specially designed to enable visitors to acquaint themselves with global spatial developments for a sustainable future.
The website uses flash for interaction with you. In particular, the sections on Global Land Cover
and the Scenarios are recommended, because they enable you to familiarise yourself with the current spatial situation of your region and to look towards future spatial changes within this region.
